Mina Rashid
The Community
Luxury Living
Mina Rashid is a vast coastal community located in the renowned historic area of Port Rashid. The development of this district has been undertaken by one of Dubai's most sought-after developers, Emaar Properties.
Despite its considerable historical importance, the area has only recently become a platform for major real estate projects. The district is planned to host seven sub-communities with mid-rise residential buildings. The development also includes large commercial spaces, a long promenade, shops, and art galleries.
Situated between the prestigious districts of Deira and Bur Dubai, Mina Rashid offers convenient and quick access to most coastal areas. For example, DIFC and Downtown Dubai are within a 20-minute drive, while reaching Dubai International Airport will take slightly longer.

With the aim of becoming the most sought-after cruise and commercial destination in the Middle East, Mina Rashid, also known as Port Rashid, provides myriad lucrative investment opportunities in Dubai and offers an extraordinary infrastructure enriched with history and culture on which Emaar Properties is going to undertake many ambitious developments. Port Rashid is already a well-established waterfront development and home to the world-renowned Queen Elizabeth 2 floating hotel. However, many other astounding projects are yet to be unveiled that turn the area into an international tourist destination upon delivery.
The port is named after Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum and it was opened in 1972. At the time the port only had two gantry cranes and a capacity of less than 100,000 TEUs. In 1978, the port was expanded to include 35 berths (five of which were able to be used by the largest container ships at the time).
